With no gravity you would expect everything to be equal… but its taken a long time for women in space to be celebrated as much as their male colleagues. This project aims to list all of those heroic women. I have found more than 50 so far. There’s no particular order, just the ones that appealed to me when I had the time to make the drawings.
The project came about after readers’ reactions to Astro Girl. Many liked the facts featuring some women astronauts at the end of the book and wanted to know more and it seems logical to create this resource.
