Events: June 2012

This Thursday, June 14

I’m giving a workshop in Islingotn at Platform. Cambridge Education @ Islington run a shadowing programme for the Greenaway award for primary schools.  Children look at the illustrations in the shortlisted books and think about whether they work and why they like them.  They then invited to an event where they feedback about the books and do an activity with an illustrator (yours truly this year).

The new Platform youth hub is the Old Hornsey Road baths, on Hornsey Road.

I am a children's book illustrator and author. I trained as a graphic designer, and have worked in publishing for over thirty years. Nowadays I work at Harper Collins running an inclusive global imprint called Kumusha Books. I still write and illustrate children's books though and enjoy every minute immersed in publishing!
